Freedom has always been painted with our families blood.
Rivers flowed with crimson so that we could stay afloat.
Nations stood proud to fight for eternal peace, but what festered was a brand new disease. We are the prisoners of a digital war, where security has become insecurity. Governments have turned to obsession, to create an unknown oppression. Complacency is a side effect of this disease, allow the suits to do as they please. A prisoner to a narrow mentality, constructed by a bleak reality.
A war of information where the casualty is truth, endless entertainment to silence the youth. The cost is self absorption for the governments extortion of our fundamental rights, with no end in sight well if you ask that shit ain't alright.
So what are you gonna do?
So what are we gonna do?
Will we continue to chew?
Or will we stand for what's true
I am sick of having no motivation
To care about what is happening with my nation
I'm a victim but I can't play it anymore
Whilst we let the enemy right through the door.
